The Manulife Philippines story

Manulife Philippines started in 1907 after acquiring a license to operate in the country. By 1999, the company became the Philippine subsidiary of Canadian insurer Manulife Financial Corporation.

Since then, Manulife Philippines has evolved as one of the country’s top insurance providers. The company also operates:

  • Manulife Asset Management and Trust Corporation (MAMTC)
  • Manulife China Bank Life Assurance Corporation (MCBL)
  • Manulife Financial Plans (MFP)

MAMTC functions as an asset management and trust company. MFP is a pre-need subsidiary, while MCBL is a bancassurance joint venture company with China Banking Corporation.

As of 2020, Manulife Philippines has more than 50 branches in key cities and municipalities nationwide.

Recruitment Process

Manulife Philippines follows different procedures for hiring fresh grads depending on the role. For instance, aspiring financial sales associates go through five recruitment stages.

  1. Online application
