The role

As an insights and analytics graduate, you’ll contribute to our mission to deliver successful customer outcomes through actionable insights. You’ll have the opportunity to work on complex challenges and with stakeholders around the business to solve problems. You’ll contribute to the building and understanding of our products and services that our customers use every day.

As a graduate you’ll spend the year rotating through the data team’s functional areas, gaining hands-on experience into what each area does and how they work. At the end of the year, these rotations should help inform your decision about your career path at Xero.

Along the journey, mentors will aid your personal growth and development by providing feedback and teaching technical skills. Through this process you’ll form strong relationships with your colleagues and peers, equipping you for an exciting career at Xero.

What we’d like to see from you. Ideally you’ll:

    • have a passion for solving complex problems, and learning new things along the way
    • have the ability to collaborate with other technical and non-technical team members with different skill sets
    • be a self-starter who’s comfortable taking the initiative
    • be comfortable working with teams across different time zones

We welcome prospective grads from a broad range of majors, including psychology, sociology, law, ethics, computer science, engineering, biology, physics, chemistry, maths, statistics, teaching – you get the idea.

How to apply

If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you! However please keep in mind that due to the number of applications we receive, we ask that you only apply for one role in one location. Please take some time to research each opportunity available before submitting your application.

If you are eligible for this role and you pass the initial eligibility stage, you will be sent a selection of online assessments (behavioural and technical) as well as a video interview via Talegent. If successful from our online assessments, you will be invited to a Grad Day which will include technical and soft skills interviews, as well as group and individual challenges. Our Grad Days will be held from mid-late May 2024.
