If you were like me, and assumed that lawyers deal with the same mundane issues every day, you would be wrong!

I think that everyone’s personal background brings a diversity of thought to a profession where people are constantly collaborating and bouncing ideas off one another.

My work is dynamic, challenging, fulfilling and no two days are alike!

I am working with Inland Revenue (Te Tari Taake), the public service department of New Zealand to advise the government on tax policy, collect and disburse payments for social support programmes, and collect taxes.

During my internship application process, I was drawn to Baker Tilly Staples Rodway’s engaging people, warm culture and close-knit team environment.
