What I love most about working at KPMG is the networking opportunities. Whether it’s a client or other people around the office, it’s always interesting to get to know other people from all walks of life.

My favourite part of my job is getting to conduct thorough investigations into the affairs of a company.

Don’t catastrophise when you face adversity. This goes for both academic and non-academic adversities. If you don’t get good grades or aren’t successful in a job application, don’t see it as a failure. Instead, see it as a learning experience—reflect on what you did right and what you could have done better, and take some lessons from it.

No two businesses are the same and furthermore, no two days are the same. I am constantly learning about new businesses and industries and learning both technical and professional skills along the way.

There is a relatively steep learning curve for beginners, but if you put the effort in, it becomes very rewarding to learn the functions and process within the insurance industry.
