I would recommend being proactive in seeking out opportunities to learn more about topics you are not familiar with. FTI Consulting has always been encouraging and accommodating in providing exposure to new areas.

Through my time at APRA, I had the opportunities to work in different industries and positions.

I enjoy understanding how software systems work, how they’re connected and wired up, and how I could use that knowledge to implement what I need to do.

We’re always involved in developing solutions across teams and with our vendors, and while this can be challenging it’s very exciting to be involved in projects that shape the future of this industry.

Whilst in Forensic Accounting most people have a commerce background to complete their CA (or equivalent qualification), not everyone starts from an accounting background. Join as you are with all your skills and interests in different areas such as painting, sports, languages, science, and tech.

To be able to impact change in the field of cyber security is the coolest thing about my current job.

As a project manager, having experience in managing people provides opportunities to gain more responsibility and/or move into a different area of the solution delivery lifecycle.
