Hi, my name is Ella Mead and I started as an intern in the BAS team at the Baker Tilly Staples Rodway Auckland office on 15 November 2023. My last day is 16 February 2024.

Elpitha Stavropoulos studied ​a Bachelor of Political, Economic and Social Sciences ​at the University of Sydney, and is now a Graduate Analyst at APRA.

Emily Strang studied Bachelor of Commerce (Double majoring in Information Science, and Management) at the University of Otago and is now a Cyber Consultant at Deloitte.

For any of our work that has some complex tax issues, we always meet with our Tax Team to check that we have dealt with these properly.

Today I will be starting off with collating a paper client pack. This is done when a job is complete, reviewed and approved by the manager

Working in SW, everyone is very active in helping each other, which gives me the motivation to improve myself.

As an Associate in the Audit team, I generally work on sections such as PPE, Operating Expenses, Cash and Accounts Payable.

After getting to work and catching up with some of the offices, I start my computer and make sure my plants are still alive. As a Business Advisory Grad my main responsibilities include preparing financial statements and tax returns for clients.
