I completed G+T’s clerkship program in Melbourne and was offered a graduate position afterwards. My current specialisation is C+R.

As a clerk, paralegal and then graduate entering the legal market, I was excited to get into work at HSF and frustrated at the many stumbling blocks that would pop up along the way.

Learning about and truly understanding a client’s business makes you more than just their lawyer – you become their trusted advisor.

As a junior lawyer in the Corporate Transactions team, I have the responsibility of drafting a variety of transaction, ASX, ASIC, and FIRB documents, as well as undertaking legal research and due diligence.

I would recommend being proactive in seeking out opportunities to learn more about topics you are not familiar with. FTI Consulting has always been encouraging and accommodating in providing exposure to new areas.
