As I gain more experience, I am given the opportunity to assist with the more complex items such as tax returns for companies and trusts, tax advice pieces and even business reports.

The coolest thing about my job is the endless learning opportunities. Unlike working in a specific industry, I get exposure to a new client for almost every task I do.

The real-world knowledge I’ve acquired in less than a year of work is phenomenal, and it’s awesome to be learning things that people actually use in real life.

I really enjoy being able to take a deep dive into the companies and industries that our clients operate in. I work with clients who develop all types of innovative products and services which I never even knew existed prior to working.

It is important to remember that university is not just about the content you will be learning, it is about the skills you will be developing.
