I am looking forward to new, different, challenging projects this year that allow me to improve outcomes in public infrastructure and innovate in the way we approach investment in infrastructure.

I would recommend being proactive in seeking out opportunities to learn more about topics you are not familiar with. FTI Consulting has always been encouraging and accommodating in providing exposure to new areas.

Through my time at APRA, I had the opportunities to work in different industries and positions.

Whilst in Forensic Accounting most people have a commerce background to complete their CA (or equivalent qualification), not everyone starts from an accounting background. Join as you are with all your skills and interests in different areas such as painting, sports, languages, science, and tech.

Our firm invests in people, and I look up to our leaders who started out as graduates and are now project directors, team leaders and board members.

As I gain more experience, I am given the opportunity to assist with the more complex items such as tax returns for companies and trusts, tax advice pieces and even business reports.

The coolest thing about my job is the endless learning opportunities. Unlike working in a specific industry, I get exposure to a new client for almost every task I do.
