Starting out in the estimating department has provided me with a greater understanding of Kane’s organisational structure and culture.

My area of responsibility is to manage the insurance claims that our clients have when unfortunate, but insurable incidents occur for our clients.

I believe having a fundamental understanding of how a building goes together in all its complexity is extremely important, and what I enjoy engaging with the most.

There’s no feeling quite like knowing that a piece of work you’ve spent weeks or months on has changed a team member’s unique experience at work every day, for the better.

I think my favourite part of the job is working on those big clients who you see around everywhere, and learning the ins-and-outs of their business.

The coolest / most interesting thing about my work definitely has to be going out to the site to see the project you’re working on coming together.

The challenges I have overcome throughout the years have taught me primary skills and resilience which I strongly believe are required to succeed in this industry.
