My area of responsibility is to manage the insurance claims that our clients have when unfortunate, but insurable incidents occur for our clients.

My current rotation has me developing and implementing the technical maintenance plan for two fleets, taking it them from development through to delivery.

Our team is working on several projects to leave a positive legacy in the region including new hospitals, schools, universities and retirement living.

The level of responsibility and exposure given in the graduate program provides such a great platform to develop yourself professionally and personally.

As a developer, my responsibilities revolve primarily around developing for and maintaining XPLAN, a private wealth management web application.

Being ambitious, it is easy to put 100% focus into work and let things such as social life and exercise slip.

Don’t be afraid to jump into a job with the fear it might not be right for you, it is the only way to find what actual career is the one for you.

Get some industry exposure; without it, you’re doing yourself a disservice and putting yourself at a massive disadvantage when you try and enter the job market. You’ll find that industry experience alongside your studies will also make your coursework easier.
