Catherine Priestley knows agriculture first-hand, having grown up helping her parents on their farm in the Central West of NSW. After graduating with a degree in Engineering and Commerce, she now experiences it from a different perspective, working as an Analyst in Macquarie Asset Management’s Agriculture team.

As a Graduate within Finance, I have had the chance to work in a number of teams on a range of exciting projects.

The daily tasks are incredibly rewarding as it allows me to essentially bring life to knowledge learnt in classes and see the reality behind it.

Through my time at APRA, I had the opportunities to work in different industries and positions.

The graduate program encourages a rotation of roles every 3 - 6 months to gain a wide understanding and a range of experiences to take forward on my career as an engineer.

One of the things I enjoy most about my job is working with my team and the chance to work with people who have a range of experiences and different engineering specialisations.

One of the projects that I am currently working on involves providing Human Factors input to the upgrading of an online platform.
