Ashleigh Cockburn studied a Bachelor of Social Science at the University of Waikato and is now a Policy & Programs Officer at ACT Government.

The coolest thing about my job is getting to meet everyone across the department! I've had incredible opportunities to meet people in all kinds of areas, doing all kinds of interesting work. We even got to visit Questacon as a graduate cohort!

The coolest part of my job is knowing that our work influences decisions that positively impact millions of Australians, ensuring they receive necessary vaccinations and treatments.

The Stepping Into Internship program helped me gain valuable skills to start my accounting career. I felt so lucky and loved.

Beth Kynaston – Graduate Graduate in Plant Biosecurity Studied at the Deakin University and the University of Newcastle, completed a Bachelor of Zoology and Animal Science and a Graduate Certificate in Environmental Management and Sustainability in 2019.

My passion lies with leadership and mentoring initiatives for young women and students from disadvantaged backgrounds; PwC has provided me with the opportunity to pursue this passion. 

Brian Tracey – Indigenous Graduate in Marine Parks, Parks Australia Studied at James Cook University, completed a Master of Science in Marine Biology & Ecology in 2018. Studies at the University of Western Sydney completed a Bachelor of Zoology and Conservation Biology.

In my section, we work on setting how we will manage the biosecurity risk of travellers arriving in Australia in the future.
