The best thing about my job is the relationships I get to grow – with colleagues, stakeholders, and with places. I have learned so much from spending time with people, visiting new Country and hearing stories.

My role within APRA is with technical advice services, specifically within Superannuation. My job is to provide a response based on a knowledge of the industry and technical insight.

I created an automated solution to solve an existing business problem, and it certainly didn't go unnoticed. I got to present my idea to our Senior Executive.

We have team training sessions weekly to cover new topics or refresh relevant areas of knowledge. In an area where there is constant change and development, you need to be willing to keep learning and developing.

As an Electrical Engineering Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), my daily duties will vary depending on the role I am posted into.

The work DSTG does directly contributes to Defence and national interests. There are few public organisations where you have that opportunity.

I chose Defence because of the opportunities and diversity of work.
