I've been part of a great cohort of people, made good friends and been given the opportunity for ongoing learning and professional growth both through the formal development program and on-the-job experience.

I was lucky to work on some really interesting tasks during my clerkship. This included doing some work for Natasha Blycha on the Australian National Blockchain project, and drafting research notes on various topics, such as the GDPR and ‘Right to be Forgotten’.

After completing two internships with Macquarie, Commerce and Law Graduate Tiffany Wu joined Macquarie Capital’s Equity Capital Markets team in 2019. Tiffany describes her time on Macquarie’s Graduate Program as a “phenomenal experience”, that saw her involved in raising billions in capital for Macquarie Capital’s clients during COVID-19.

Toni Anda enjoys the global reach of working for a multinational company like Macquarie but as an Analyst based in Macquarie's New Zealand office, she also has the benefit of being part of a tight-knit office of thirty people.

Junior lawyers are allocated files to work on with a partner and are in charge of running the matter to settlement... It is an excellent way to develop strong advice writing skills and learn strategies to settle matters.
