Improve your interpersonal skills as much as you as you are studying. Hone those skills as it is important as much as what is in your head. Knowing something is half of the game, you must be able to deliver those thoughts in a way that will not result in antagonizing the receiver.

I think the best thing about my role is that I’m able to work with different kinds of people. I’m meeting a lot of external clients and I’m working with a lot of internal officers.

There are people here that didn’t have a technical background before they joined the company but are excelling in being business analysts. I’ve found that if you are always willing to learn, and you’re confident to take opportunities to apply your skills, you’d be a good fit in the environment here.

Apart from the endless benefits Lightspeed offers, I would say the most exciting thing involving my role would be hiring someone overseas and giving them the opportunity to relocate.

Good communication with the team and an in-depth understanding of the requirements will make the job lighter.
