I value CommBank’s approach to practical on-the-job learning. I’ve had the ability to apply the communications and creative problem-solving skills that I learnt at uni, to what I’m working on in the real world.

My area of responsibility is to manage the insurance claims that our clients have when unfortunate, but insurable incidents occur for our clients.

IAG places a heavy emphasis on facilitating a healthy work-life balance for its people. They do so by supporting flexible working arrangements for those with different professional or personal commitments.

It feels even better when stakeholders recognise how clear my explanation is!

A common saying in the corporate world is “It’s not what you know, but who you know”. Use your time as a grad (and beyond!) to network with people and create your personal brand, you never know when a relationship may prove advantageous.

Part of being on the team is having “crazy” ideas about how software could be applied to an area and being given the time to test it out.
