I applied for the Westpac Group Graduate program because I believed that it would provide me with an opportunity for mentorship and training.

As an analyst in the Investment Bank, I crunch the numbers supporting the big ideas and transformative transactions that our clients are undertaking.

IAG has provided me with friendly, knowledgeable managers and colleagues who have taught me everything I know about the job and are more than happy to help whenever I have a problem.

My favourite part of the job if most definitely being about to connect with our clients on a daily basis, which are predominately farmers and being able to see how we are contributing to meet their business needs and helping them achieve their goals.

Stay true to yourself—don’t pursue ‘that’ career just to fulfil everyone else’s expectations. Besides, you’re the one that has to live your life so may as well make it interesting for yourself.

I’m part of the Analytics team; I’ve been using data to try to understand the behaviour of people.
