The refinery is a fascinating place to work in and people have been extremely generous with their time and knowledge - something that I’ve valued immensely especially as an engineer at the beginning of my career.

The best part about my job is that every day is different. Even though projects can take months to complete, it is rare that you repeat a task and it always feels like progress.

If anyone asks me, how are you today? I always say that I am better than yesterday but not as good as tomorrow!

I often feel a great sense of achievement when our team completes a project, making the work more worthwhile. On top of these cool aspects of my job, there is also a great golf day and Christmas party which are fun extras!
