As a clerk, you get exposure to great matters – massive commercial deals and important government work.

The fact I can bring my whole self to work and be myself and I am provided challenging and meaningful work, which lets me focus on becoming the best lawyer I can be.

I feel very lucky to be able to work on unique constitutional issues or complex administrative law questions and to work alongside leading constitutional law specialists and experts.

The construction industry was out of my comfort zone when I first started (and a little now, I’m still learning) so most of the experiences I have had here are a first for me!

It could have been challenging to juggle my family and work life if Hydro Tasmania didn’t value diversity and flexibility.
