Being a Powerlink Queensland Graduate not only offers hands-on experience but also allows me to collaborate closely with skilled engineers in the field.

Alessio Bresciani studied a Master of Electrical & Electronic Engineering and is now a Graduate Electrical Engineer at Western Power.

I’ve developed and made strategic suggestions on how the company can address existing issues. This is a great opportunity to throw around ideas on technical solutions and discuss the engineering designs for our assets.

Alex studied Commerce (Marketing and Management Majors) at Deakin University and is now a Marketing Graduate at Reece Group

The reconfiguration work begins. All physical work at Transpower’s sites is done by contracted service providers. Transpower’s service providers have a depth of technical and practical experience. It’s great learning from them.

I am working on three projects at the moment. Two Transmission Line Refurbishment Projects and a Project to Install Phase Monitoring Units at a number of Transgrid Substations.

Amy Phan graduated with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Queensland University of Technology and is now working as an Asset Maintenance Engineer at Ergon Energy Network/Energex.

Focus on ensuring all immediate issues are under control by the end of the day, whilst checking in and gathering information from team members that may affect how I go about actioning various tasks. This will help me put together a monthly presentation of how the team has performed in optimising import cargoes into the country and issues that may have been faced.
