As a clerk, you get exposure to great matters – massive commercial deals and important government work.

The fact I can bring my whole self to work and be myself and I am provided challenging and meaningful work, which lets me focus on becoming the best lawyer I can be.

I feel very lucky to be able to work on unique constitutional issues or complex administrative law questions and to work alongside leading constitutional law specialists and experts.

The construction industry was out of my comfort zone when I first started (and a little now, I’m still learning) so most of the experiences I have had here are a first for me!

Communicate with different people, explore new experiences, and be compassionate towards yourself and others.

I love that my job still requires an application of electrical engineering theory – in some roles I have definitely had to dust off the old university textbooks and brush up on some concepts. The application of this theory and realising it out in the field is very rewarding.

Work at Santos is fast-paced and always changing so it’s a fantastic place to learn as a young engineer.

What I love most about my job is that I am given confidence from my team that I can complete even the most daunting and confusing of tasks.
