It could have been challenging to juggle my family and work life if Hydro Tasmania didn’t value diversity and flexibility.

I have the opportunity to interact with a variety of people including engineers, field operators, strategy analysts and even the CEO!

I enjoy working on tasks that aim to add value to our customer experience and in turn, seeing how certain initiatives have improved end-users’ satisfaction.

I would like to acknowledge how fortunate I am to still be working and in good health. I have certainly been very lucky, and my heart goes out to those who have been affected by COVID-19.

Set yourself up as early as possible for your future. Take opportunities as they present themselves, make connections with people in your field, apply early and often for career starting positions.

I have always enjoyed maths and science throughout high school so I wanted a career which would reflect this.
