I enjoy working on tasks that aim to add value to our customer experience and in turn, seeing how certain initiatives have improved end-users’ satisfaction.

I would like to acknowledge how fortunate I am to still be working and in good health. I have certainly been very lucky, and my heart goes out to those who have been affected by COVID-19.

As a graduate data scientist in my company, I can work on different tools such as Azure data bricks, R studio, Power BI, which I never used in Uni before. I can feel how powerful and useful they are.

I have always enjoyed maths and science throughout high school so I wanted a career which would reflect this.

If projects is your career goals, I would be surprised if any other organisation would be providing similar opportunities at such an early stage in your career and I truly believe that the TransGrid graduate program sets you up to be an experienced project manager. The coolest thing about this opportunity is the actual opportunity itself.

It was my ticket to learn, develop, connect and kick-start my career.

I am currently running my own project that’s related to our ECOFIT modernisation workshop in Brisbane where I am tasked with executing a customer event.

Those that seek out a broader experience and are willing to learn new or different skills to what they had expected, tend to provide and draw the most value later.
