The easiest path may not always be the most exciting. If you’re fortunate enough to have free electives, make them count!

Celebrate the small wins: staying positive and focussing on the little things improves your mood and keeps you motivated.

Diversify yourself and allow personal experimentation and flexibility. Refuse to conform to stereotypes or expectations: go against the grain and be unique.

Don’t focus too much on grades – as much as you need decent grades, take time to learn and practice people skills because, in the end, those will take you a lot further in your career.

We are given a lot of flexibility in our Graduate Program to shape our experience and take on rotations that are interesting to us.

My daily goal is to maintain safety, high-quality products to ensure customers receive premium Colorsteel

A large part of my role is going to customer sites and running tests that provide information on how the process is running and how the chemicals are performing in the processes.

The programme gives you the chance to try so many different roles that you wouldn’t get to normally do.
