We’ve set an ambitious goal to achieve net zero by 2035 in Victoria (it will be 2030 for some of our clients). My job is to make it happen!

A project that I’m working on with the marketing team is set to go live next week so there are some details to finalise – from approving digital assets, sending out a market stand email, reworking our website page to refresh our branding and more! 

Sam Baxter graduated with Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Veterinary Science from The University of Queensland and is now working as a Policy Officer at the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment.

The people in the office love coffee and often go to a nearby cafe together. I often get a vegemite pastry when we go. Group meeting to discuss any key updates or things to be aware of. It is also a time to learn something interesting, with another team member presenting something they’ve been working on. The responsibility of running the meeting cycles around weekly is a good way for me to practice my communication skills.
