I was lucky enough to be involved projects and see some of the work that goes into moving the entire operation to a new area, including how we manage health and safety and all the other details involved in this.

It's incredible to see how amazing this project is for the business and managers, and the time and effort it would save them.

Fairly cliché – but it’s the people you get to work with! I loved working as an operations supervisor in the warehouse because of the variety of characters you get to spend time working alongside.

The most important thing a person needs to make it with Mainfreight is the right attitude. From my experience so far, the thing that will get you places is having a ‘Go For It’ or ‘Give It A Go’ mentality.

I have been lucky to be involved with several projects that have improved how the business interacts with data and cost modelling. Being able to contribute to these initiatives and positively impact the business is what excites me about my role.

I love seeing people develop and grow further in their roles. There is nothing more exciting than seeing someone you work with understand and improve, leading them into promotions or working in other areas of the business that they are interested in.
