The coolest thing about this job is the real-life experience. For me is it not a specific task that I have enjoyed the most, it is the new sense of professionalism I have gained.

Everyone at Foodstuffs is extremely supportive and will take time out of their day to help train you especially interns and graduates.

Don’t be afraid to go for roles you wouldn’t typically go for – you won’t know if you enjoy something until you try it, and where you end up can be very different than what you originally planned.

Maintain a positive, can-do attitude and be confident in your abilities, if you have prepared well you have given yourself every chance to succeed!

Enjoy your time as a student, it doesn’t last forever. Looking back at it now it was a great part of my life.

Making the customer feel comfortable and giving good suggestions to them if something went wrong and working along with them to correct things will make me think I am doing my role in the right way.
