Bethany Mahler studied ​a ​Bachelor of Laws and Bachelors of Commerce Majoring in Human Resources ​at Macquarie University and is now an Associate Consultant at Morgan McKinley.

Coffee number two. One of my favourite lockdown impulse purchases is a mini barista coffee machine complete with a milk steaming wand and bean grinder. I am a coffee lover and I enjoy heading to a café with my friends and colleagues. This was the closest I could get to that during lockdown!

Brendan Moyle graduated with a Bachelor of Information Technology (Double major in Multimedia Development and Philosophy) from Monash University and is now a User Experience Designer Graduate at REA Group.

My team prefers to have our morning meeting over coffee. We’ll catch up and discuss what work we all have on that day and any priorities.

HLB Sydney has a hot desk policy, so I am able to sit with different people each day. This gives me the chance to socialise and mingle with everyone in my team.

I join a live Webex session as part of K&L Gates' in-house Graduate Training Program. This is about researching caselaw. I was grateful to take away many handy tricks for researching case law - I wish I had known these tricks at uni!
