I found my love for events while planning family functions (partly because I might be a bit of a control freak but I also like having plans and love being creative!) For me, putting something together behind the scenes, seeing people react and making experiential memories is worth all the hurdles I jump over

Accenture has a career progression model that develops our people from associates/analysts to Managing Directors (executives).

I also liked that the coursework not only focused on laboratory skills but professional development as well.

I have enjoyed significant success in my projects, and have had the pleasure of working in some awesome parts of the world. 

This has been a great avenue to make a contribution back to DFAT and support a workplace that values and celebrates diversity and inclusion.
