The ABC Story

The Alphabet company traces its origins back to 1926 when the Radio Corporation of America alongside two other firms founded the National Broadcasting Company and operated a nationwide radio broadcasting network. NBC was rapidly expanding and was split into two separate networks, called the Red and the Blue networks.

The Blue Network was sold to Edward J. Noble and was renamed the American Broadcasting Company, Inc.
