Formed in 2007 by a group of pharmacists and one experienced doctor, the partnership has gone from strength the strength. At The Infinity Group, the focus is on comprehensive, quality and timely care, education and health promotion in the local community.

The Infinity Group offers its patients a variety of specialised services throughout its locations, to ensure holistic care from doctor to pharmacist, to specialist. The Infinity Group team is highly experienced and comprehensively trained to focus on patient care, education and health promotion within their scope.

The Infinity Group believes in providing the highest level of service with utmost integrity and honesty to the General Practitioners and specialists across the group. It ensures that the doctors are supported by a team of skilled nurses, reception and management at all times.

Recruitment Process

They accept application for Pharmacist Intern positions all year round. 

The majority of our businesses are based in QLD, but we also operate on NSW, VIC and WA

It all starts with a phone call.

The first step will be an informal phone call. Be prepared to let us know what you are looking for in your internship and why you will be an asset to our team. You may be asked to elaborate on some information in your resume. 

Interview 

You’ll attend a virtual or in-person interview with one of our Operations Leaders or Managing Pharmacist. This will give you an opportunity to make sure we are the right fit for you . Think if it as an opportunity to interview us too.

What will set you a part from the crowd:

  • Ideally, you have some experience working in a community pharmacy
  • You are committed to your ongoing personal and professional development.
  • Team player who can easily vibe with customers and colleagues
  • An Australian or New Zealand citizen, or an Australian permanent resident
  • Currently completing a degree or have graduated within the last year
  • And most importantly, you are passionate about pharmacy

With our network of more than 110 pharmacies across Australia, you’ll never be short of opportunity or locked in to a single location. If your circumstances change, our support team will work with you to help you relocate to another of our pharmacies.

As an Intern you will work closely with one of our hand picked Preceptors who will guide you though your Internship year. They will support your exam prep and connect you with other interns to collaborate on assignments. 

Once you pass your final exams and complete your supervised hours we will start consultations with you on available opportunities as Pharmacist , that way you can step into a Pharmacist role the moment your registration is finalised.

There is no predetermined time frame for how long it takes before you can be promoted. Salary increases are based on your skills set - so the more services you can offer the more you will earn. We have seen Interns progress from Pharmacist to Pharmacy Manager with in 18th months. It all depends on what you want out of your career.
