I enjoy the flexibility to be able to work from home, it’s nice to have your own space and be able to work in your own environment a couple days a week.

I value CommBank’s approach to practical on-the-job learning. I’ve had the ability to apply the communications and creative problem-solving skills that I learnt at uni, to what I’m working on in the real world.

The best thing about my job is being able to help clients understand data and implement strategies to make their business better.

The inception of the Sydney office represented a massive disruption to the finance industry in Australia, where some of the most talented bankers from Australia formed a team with a united goal.

Personally, I love the working arrangements that I have created within my team. Being able to work from home is great as I live a fair way from the office.

The programme gives you the chance to try so many different roles that you wouldn’t get to normally do.

One thing that drew me to applying for the graduate programme at Contact is that they offer specialised work in some very unique places. For me, the ability to live in Central Otago on the Clutha River comes with the benefits of skiing, biking, surfing, hiking, all in some very sweet scenery. 

The undoubted highlight of the Career Compass Program is having the opportunity to speak with a diverse group of people who were so passionate about their roles but the EY organisation.
