Starting out in the estimating department has provided me with a greater understanding of Kane’s organisational structure and culture.

Enjoy your time as a student, it doesn’t last forever. Looking back at it now it was a great part of my life.

I believe having a fundamental understanding of how a building goes together in all its complexity is extremely important, and what I enjoy engaging with the most.

Volunteer, gain experience, work lots of jobs, and take all opportunities. I found that my degree got my foot in the door and got me an interview however, my work experience got me the job

It is also cool how in a few years I still get the ability to be able to look back at the work I was part of and see how this helps the community. Moments like this give me a sense of reward and that all the hard work was worth it.
