Nous largely looks at your ability to think in a structured way, draw out key findings from data (qualitative and quantitative), and communicate insights in a clear and compelling way for clients (usually through PowerPoint or Word).

A high effort grade is more important than an A+.

Academic backing is important and it always helps. I thought that I should not mix up my passion and my academics. In such a situation, attending talks, seminars and meeting the people of the industry can be helpful.

BDO's support through my studies has been a real highlight for me, and I can't wait to finish my exams and become a fully qualified Chartered Accountant.

The greatest satisfaction in my role lies in the concrete impact I make by strengthening information security protocols and optimizing operational effectiveness for a variety of organizations.

I would suggest the young pass outs to research and understand what the market demands. Figure out what interests you the most by exploring various fields. I would like to conclude by saying “ Don’t stop when you are tired, stop when you are done.”

The construction industry was out of my comfort zone when I first started (and a little now, I’m still learning) so most of the experiences I have had here are a first for me!

I have been with Genpact for almost a month, and it’s been a good learning journey for me. The coolest thing for me was that I got into a project just after few days of onboarding and got access to live data.
