A high effort grade is more important than an A+.

Anything from international negotiations, running seminars, inputting into policy, writing briefings, creating databases and analytical tools, being part of committees and consultation meetings – it’s all so diverse and this is the part of my job I love the most.

Every rotation came with a sense of surprise and anticipation. I could have a good guess at what was in store for me, but with a new team and sometimes even a new location, I was faced with new experiences and more opportunities to learn.

Anand Gupte Studied at the Australian National University, completed a Bachelor of Commerce/Finance in 2020.

I really love the parts of my job where I can interact with customers through talking about their farms and businesses, as I love hearing other people’s ideas and getting to know what does and doesn’t work in the farming and business side of things.

The best moments are when or if clients/farmers come in and praise you for your help and recommendation after they have had a great result.

Beth Kynaston – Graduate Graduate in Plant Biosecurity Studied at the Deakin University and the University of Newcastle, completed a Bachelor of Zoology and Animal Science and a Graduate Certificate in Environmental Management and Sustainability in 2019.
